Easter is a time of death and resurrection, of new life. Over the weekend we will honour the human journey of death and rebirth, starting on Good Friday. We invite you to give yourself fully to the program offered over the weekend and open to receive in plenty. This is an adult-only event - we want to give parents and carers an opportunity to rest and take space.
What is Seva?
Seva is selfless service of humanity or love in action. The aim of Seva is to harmonise the faculties of head, heart and hands, to offer your best quality for the upliftment of other people. Seva purifies the heart and grounds us in the body. Everyone benefits - both the giver and the receiver.
We ask that everyone contributes 1 - 2 hours seva per day. Duties may be tidying and preparing spaces, helping prepare meals/chai, chai shop, candles and lighting, decorating, flowers, incense lighting, toilet and shower cleaning and checking... etc. You will receive your seva duties on arrival.
Seva Volunteer
There are places for a small number of seva volunteers. These are for committed individuals who wish offer their time before and after the gathering with setup, set-down, decorations and be more available to help us over the weekend. Please express your interest to Emma first before purchasing.
A warm welcome to you!!!

"Dear Abhijeeta - thank you so much for all your energy and thought that went into our retreat on Saturday - and for sharing the accumulated wisdom from years of your own practice that stood behind, and within, the day you led with us.
I felt you created a warm, sharing and trusting atmosphere from which I - and I felt others in the group - could feel and explore. It took me way outside of the daily focus on emails, appointments not made, projects uncompleted and Things to Do but not done. Time to pause and feel deeply is very precious and you facilitated a very safe space for me. The morning perhaps touched me the deepest with the guided meditative yoga, which used the breath and movement to open a tranquil yet emotional space where feelings could come.
Your instructions to leading me through this - and I am someone physically unused to yoga - were beautifully clear, short, simple and non-judgemental - and led to some profound insights. The invitation to undertake a small ritual by ourselves out of doors provided me with a pause from the group and moments for self reflection which I really valued - I would even have liked a bit more time in the green field with the first sniffs of spring in the air. The mixture of meditation, yoga, movement, ritual and - towards the end - chanting and song - helped unlock different aspects of being together in a space. I felt the reflection in the group at the end provided a 'soft landing' with a closure and a way to re-enter the hurly burly of daily life." Mike
"Thank you so much for such a powerful workshop on Saturday, it initiated some shifts for me in just a few short hours. I found it a very moving experience to share stories with the other women, especially in this stage of pregnancy. I also loved the exercises/practices that we did,
thank you for holding it all so beautifully." Anna
