'Nourish Gathering' Facilitators

Emma Abhijeeta Saraswati
Emma Abhijeeta is the founder of Love Cake & Chai and Sacred Hearth. She is
a teacher of the Heart, with over 25 years experience offering yoga, movement, meditation, workshops, retreats and 1-1 sessions in service to the awakening of Truth.
Emma's teachings are rooted in yoga (union), karma sannyasa (to live life fully, participate in all events externally, but interally maintain an attitude of non-doership) and many years surrendering to Truth, burning in the fire of Love. She invites you to awaken and embody what you are as Love, embracing life as an open-eyed meditation.
Emma & Mark, her partner, co-founded Sacred Hearth Sanctuary in Byron Hinterland, Australia in 2021 - a place to come home, rest, be nourished, be inspired and be yourself. It is a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary, a spiritual refuge, a place of inner reflection, a living Temple of the sacred flame where we can discover stillness, self-love, peace and deep rest in ourselves. Welcome Home!

Jai Ram
Jai's love affair with electronic dance music began in 1997 when he stumbled across the enchanting sounds of a Carl Cox F.a.c.t mix on his friend's walkman. Soon after he discovered the underground Melbourne rave scene, Every Picture Tells a Story, Hardware, Pleazure were just some of the amazing events that would create a lasting imprint.
Since then Jai has hosted radio shows on 3CR, SYN FM and SSRN, organised underground club and rave events and dj'ed at events such as The Rainbow Serpent Festival, Burning Man and Ecstatic Festival. In more recent times he's established himself as a regular fixture within the ecstatic dance and conscious dance community in Melbourne. As both a therapist by trade and a DJ Jai's sound explorations are highly shamanic. His intention is to help his audience transcend limitations and connect with their true and timeless nature. Expect anything from tribal house, techno, and trance, always with a deeply emotive and hypnotic touch.

Shunya & Daniela
On Friday evening enjoy a kirtan led by Shunya and Daniela from Venus Rising. Two voices in a weave, acoustic guitar and a variety of percussion instruments will invite your inner voice out into the space, in unison with others. The duo write their own original mantras and are looking forward to floating a magical elixir of devotion into the night air.
Shunya has MC'd the cabaret at The Joining festival and The Village. His observational comic style brings an extra frisson of humour to the moment. The cabaret is a great way to bring people together, for folk to have a go at expressing themselves in front of a forgiving audience. There will be 15 spots of around 5 minutes. So if you have an air to share, a poem, a song or a dance routine put your name on the running order and start rehearsing. Can be serious, funny or uncategorisable.
